Heather Shaw (pictured) is the current Supervisor & Head Teacher, after starting at LCNS in 2021 as the Program Assistant. She has 13 years experience teaching young children in a variety of early years environments. Heather is an accredited Communicative Disorders Assistant with a background in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology. Her work experiences in private clinics and public schools have given her a breadth of knowledge in child-led play based learning, front-line speech therapy, and occupational therapy. She believes that play is how children learn best. Her enthusiasm for early learning is evident in the caring interactions with the children, caregivers and LCNS community. Heather attended LCNS as a young child back in the 80s! Emily Freeburn is the current RECE, joining LCNS in 2024.
