SCHOOL EXPERIENCE

We provide a positive learning environment for each child that enhances his or her level of development. Each child is unique and such uniqueness is fostered.
 

History

Lakefield Co-Operative Nursery School est. 1973. Families work together to run the school as assistant teachers, administrators, fundraisers, and the maintenance crew. Together, the families of LCNS have been successfully running the school for over 44 years!

Community

The sense of community that the co-operative school provides for families of young children is invaluable. It provides an educational and social experience for both the child and the parent.
 

outdoor play

Every morning, in (most weather conditions) the children get to enjoy the beautiful and safe outdoor play area complete with a sandbox. tricycle track, climbers and slides, teeter totter, play bulldozer, pretend BBQ and kitchen, picnic tables and more.
